Bring your own, we can collect it, or you can choose from our available strains.

After propping your yeast, weโll ensure the desired count, assess its vitality and viability, and test it for bacteria and wild yeast before packaging it and delivering it directly to you.
Requires about 7 days for setup, propagation, and post-prop testing and packaging.

BrewStar will propagate a pitch of your next yeast strain to your specifications.
Just let us know which strain you need, or provide us with a sample of your house strain.
We’ll prop it to whatever size you need and then we’ll:
- conduct a cell count and viability assay,
- test for bacteria, wild yeast, and other contaminants,
- test for diastaticus,
- do a forced-ferment test, and
- deliver it to you cold and ready to use!
